Concept film posters created as a personal project for design and illustration study

Continuous project of film poster creation for personal recreation or, if there are interested parties, use in published publications. The posters were chosen according to personal interest, as well as the aesthetics used, since it is a project carried out without concrete ends.

Anna

Poster for Anna, a 1967 film directed by Pierre Koralnik, written and featuring music by Serge Gainsbourg, and starring Anna Karina, Jean-Claude Briarly and Serge Gainsbourg. The cover features a collage of various elements and stills from the film in dualtone. The typefaces used were inspired in early nouvelle vague poster and graphic design objects.


       

       

Chungking Express

Poster for Chungking Express, a 1994 Hong Kong film written and directed by Wong Kar-wai and starring Takeshi Kaneshiro, Brigitte Lin, Tony Leung Chiu-wai and Faye Wong.
The poster features an illustration depicting two of the most emblematic objects in the film: a can of Del Monte sliced pineapples and a can of Porthos sardines. Both of these elements are crucial in creating a relation between the two narratives of the film, and were here used to represent those two different stories.
